Mr. Lamin Janneh is an accomplished and results-oriented professional with more than twenty-five years of progressive experience in the telecommunications industry. Since joining the Gambia Telecommunications Company Ltd. (GAMTEL) in 1998, he has served in various managerial and administrative capacities, consistently demonstrating exceptional leadership, organizational insight, and a steadfast commitment to institutional excellence.
Currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration (MPA) at the University of The Gambia, Mr. Janneh is expanding his expertise in governance, leadership, and public-sector performance to complement his extensive background in corporate management. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from the same university and several professional diplomas in business administration, human resource management, and information technology from the Institute of Commercial Management (ICM) UK.
Throughout his career, Mr. Janneh has made significant contributions to organizational development, staff training, and strategic planning within GAMTEL. His leadership has been instrumental in implementing operational reforms, improving productivity, and cultivating a culture of continuous learning and accountability. Recognized for his ability to develop human capital, coordinate capacity-building initiatives, and guide policy execution, he is widely respected as a dependable mentor and team motivator.
Beyond his professional duties, Mr. Janneh is an active lecturer and training consultant, sharing practical knowledge with students and early-career professionals in management and administration.
