Ramatoulie Whan Banutu-Gomez is a dedicated and highly organized professional with strong expertise in compliance, administration, and customer service. She is currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources Management at Rowan University, building on her academic foundation from Banutu Business College and Lasting Solution, where she studied Human Resources Management and Information Technology, respectively. She and her husband, Professor Michale Ba Banutu-Gomez, own Banutu Business College. She also served as a research assistant to Professor Banutu-Gomez, and they presented a paper at the International Conference in Rome, Italy, in 2022.

Ramatoulie’s career journey reflects a consistent commitment to accuracy, efficiency, and service. From 2016 to 2021, she worked with the Social Security Administration in The Gambia, where she played a key role in ensuring compliance and maintaining accurate records for both employers and employees. Her responsibilities included registering employer and employee information in the database system, delivering social security cards and yearly account statements, and conducting company visits to ensure adherence to government requirements. She also trained new employees on database systems, demonstrating her leadership and mentoring skills.

Earlier in her career, she gained experience as an Associate with Walmart in Woodbury, New Jersey, where she developed strong customer service, teamwork, and organizational skills in a fast-paced retail environment.

Her core competencies include data entry, appointment scheduling, data verification, customer service, marketing, and compliance support. These skills, combined with her educational pursuits in human resources and technology, position her as a well-rounded professional with the ability to manage both administrative operations and people-focused initiatives.
